Stationary events
A stationary event is an in-person event: a workshop, a meetup, a classroom session. It has a
place, start and end dates, a participant limit, a program and an agenda. Seats are sold through
the event’s product, and participants can also be added by hand. The stationary-events package
holds the data; there is no check-in or attendance tracking.
Who uses it
Section titled “Who uses it”- Administrators and tutors manage events. With the default roles both have the full set of
stationary-event_*permissions; there are no-ownvariants, so a tutor can edit any event. - Learners see published events on the learner site and in their account
(
GET /api/stationary-events/me).
