Error pages

The reference frontend has two error pages, styled in the tenant’s academy theme (by tenant slug, falling back to the coffee theme) and showing the demo badge on tenant hosts.

404	An unknown URL, an unknown course, topic or event id, a topic that is not in the course, or /platform on a tenant host	“This page is not here” - “The course or lesson may have moved. The demo data is also rebuilt every hour.”
500	An unexpected error while rendering, e.g. the tenant’s API does not answer as expected	“Something went wrong” - “The academy’s API did not answer as expected. Try again in a moment.”

Both pages show the status code and two buttons: “Back to the academy” (/) and “Try again” (reloads the same path). The 404 page answers with HTTP status 404.
